Google merges Search Console Insights into the main Search Console
Google has integrated Search Console Insights directly into the main Search Console. A streamlined interface, more accessible performance data, and a prominent “Insights” button.
Since its beta release, Search Console Insights has offered a simplified and educational view of content performance for publishers, bloggers, and SEO professionals. Until recently, this feature was only accessible via a dedicated URL.
But as of July 2025, Google has officially integrated Insights into the main Search Console, marking a key step in unifying its analytical tools.
A discreet but strategic integration
A new “Insights” button is now visible directly in the main Search Console navigation, clearly marked with a “New” badge.
This update means users no longer need to access a separate URL to view content performance data. The interface has also been refined to better align with the visual structure of the main Search Console.
What is Search Console Insights for?
Search Console Insights was designed to answer a simple question: "What content performs best, and why?" It combines data from both Search Console and Google Analytics to provide quick, accessible insights, even for non-technical users.
With this integration, users can now:
- Identify top-performing pages over the past 28 days
- Track traffic trends (clicks and impressions)
- Spot rising or declining content
- Understand how visitors are reaching their content (Google Search, external links, etc.)
- View queries that led users to their pages
A more seamless interface with actionable data

The dashboard highlights top-clicked content, rising/falling trends, and overall impressions, making it easy to quickly assess a site’s editorial health.
Why this update matters
For SEO professionals, this integration represents a significant time-saver. No more jumping between tabs or tools, everything is accessible from a single entry point.
It also underscores Google’s ongoing effort to democratize performance analysis, making essential insights available to a wider audience without requiring advanced technical skills.
The arrival of Search Console Insights within the main interface is a welcome upgrade for content creators, SEO analysts, and marketers alike. The tool retains its educational clarity while benefiting from the robustness of the main Search Console ecosystem.
If you don’t see the new “Insights” button yet, don’t worry, Google is rolling it out progressively worldwide.
A new visual identity for Search Console
